WOMEN MOUNTIES DOMINATE IN FRONT OF A PACKED CROWD

The Mount Allison women's basketball team put on a show Saturday afternoon, cruising past the Crandall Chargers 77–50 in front of an electric McCormick Gym crowd.
The Mounties came out firing, dropping 29 points in the opening quarter and never looking back. The gym was buzzing as Mount A controlled the tempo all game, turning defense into transition buckets and putting on a clinic on both ends of the floor.
Sadie Bowen led the charge with 20 points and 7 rebounds, while Danielle Alexander was a force inside with 15 points and 8 boards. Kate Fillmore added 14 points and 4 assists, with Grace Tilley and Emma Roberts dishing out a combined 14 assists to keep the offense humming.
The Mounties shot 43% from the field and finished with 27 assists, a complete team effort that had the crowd on its feet.
The energy carried right into the men's matchup later in the evening, where Mount A pulled off another victory, a double win for the home side!
